Videographer / Photographer (Medior)

About the role
We are looking for a medior videographer / photographer to strengthen our team in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual content, both video and photography, for our clients active in the maritime and logistics markets.
You will be expected to work independently, while also collaborating with our team to support client goals. We value ownership. You will have the freedom and responsibility to take full charge of your projects and see them through from concept to completion.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit video productions for client campaigns, websites, and social media.
- Capture professional photography for events, portraits, vessels, and operational settings.
- Translate client briefs into strong visual concepts and storyboards.
- Operate cameras, lighting, and sound equipment on location in harbors, on vessels, at terminals, and in office settings.
- Edit footage and photos into professional deliverables, including motion graphics, music, and subtitles when needed.
- Manage and archive all visual assets, ensuring brand consistency.
- Collaborate with colleagues such as designers, content marketers, and web developers to integrate visuals into broader campaigns.
- Stay up to date with trends, tools, and techniques in video and photography.
What we are looking for?
- 3–5 years of experience in videography and photography.
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and Photoshop or similar.
- Skilled in camera operation, lighting, composition, and sound recording.
- Strong eye for storytelling and ability to capture complex topics in a clear, engaging way.
- Experience or interest in maritime, logistics, offshore, or shipbuilding is preferred.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and working with deadlines.
- An energetic and eager colleague.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
