CLIENT CASE

NPRC

"It is valuable to be assisted by a creative team that has a unique combination of knowledge about logistics, marketing and communications."

Wilco VolkerProject leader Modal Shift NPRC

Inland shipping powerhouse boosts online visibility

NPRC is a cooperation of barge owners. They match the logistics questions of over 250 clients with the capacity of members.

Every day, at least 200 barges navigate the European waterways, under NPRC’s direction. NPRC is the largest inland shipping cooperative, transporting over 15 million tons of dry cargo annually.

“How can we boost our online visibility, whilst maintaining our cooperative character?”

Our approach

First of all, Getting the Market conducted interviews with NPRC colleagues, members, and a couple of clients.

We identified their needs and translated them into solid core messages. The versatile fleet, sustainability and digitalization are the cornerstones of their communication strategy.

Next, we set up basic wireframes that were translated into the designs. After approval, we started coding the pages, collecting the content and writing the copy.

Results

Within three months, the website was launched in four languages. All stakeholders can easily find the information they are looking for, making the website a versatile source of information.

By introducing cargo flow pages, NPRC drastically improved the Search Engine Optimization results. With the new look & feel, NPRC is fit for the future.
